The Specialization in Children’s Ministry is offered at both the graduate and undergraduate level and utilizes in-context teaching and training. Come learn from specialists in the fields of leadership, theology, and Children’s Ministry. Have meaningful conversations on pertinent topics. Inform your mind through current thought and essential teachings. Participate in a mentoring relationship, and develop personal, spiritual, and ministerial accountability. Deepen your understanding of God’s heart for children and families.
Learning Options: These courses can be taken at the graduate, undergraduate, or not-for-credit levels.
Cohorts: Students enter in cohorts and commit to completing four 3-credit courses over a two year period comprised.
Competency-Based Learning: In-context learning with live-stream lectures, real-life assignments, applicable readings, and invested mentoring.
Accredited: Courses are available at both the bachelor and master's level, and are backed by the highest level of accreditation. The courses are also available as not-for-credit. Contact us for more information about this option.
Degree Specialization: Courses can be applied to specializations within the ACTS Master of Christian Studies, Master of Divinity, or Diploma in Christian Studies degrees. They can also be applied to the Bachelor of Leadership at Trinity Western University, and the Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies at Columbia Bible College. The following rates are applicable for the September 2021 – April 2022 academic year:
- Graduate: $378.75/credit hour
- Undergraduate: $372/credit hour
- Not-for-Credit*: $254/credit hour

Application: New cohorts begin in September. Students must apply to enter the Centre for Ministry Excellence of ACTS/TWU by contacting [email protected], or calling Nikki Lanigan at 604-888-7592. You will typically hear back within 48-72 hours. Once your application has been processed you may register for classes. There is no application fee.
