Director of Development
Ron Sing joined Northwest in July 2011 as the Director of Development. Ron serves alongside our President, Kent Anderson, assisting him in all areas of donor support, and fund development for our existing and future programs. As well, Ron oversees communications with all alumni and with the Fellowship Churches in the Pacific Region. Ron desires to connect with, and build new relationships, with financial partners and supporters who understand Northwest’s vision and mission for leadership development.
Ron graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in economics and worked as an Investment Advisor for 23 years. He retired from the industry three years ago, reflecting on God’s adventure for him. After hearing Northwest’s passion for training pastoral leaders, and after much prayer, Ron felt a strong call to be a part of Northwest and its mission to train pastoral leaders.
Ron is married to Natalie (1988) and has four adult children, and a very active black lab. Ron has served in church leadership as a deacon and currently as an elder at Parksville Fellowship Baptist Church. He has also served on music, church vision and missions/outreach committees. Music, drumming in particular, is his passion, and he gladly uses his skills in Parksville’s worship ministry.
