President's Pen
Keep the main thing the main thing. This familiar phrase provides wisdom for many areas of life, but it is especially important for Christians, churches, ministries, and schools like Northwest. When the main thing becomes a side thing, or worse a forgotten thing, then everything begins to fall apart.

A Glimpse into the Korean BACL
The Bachelor of Arts in Christian Leadership (BACL) program saw a healthy intake of students this year thanks to the concerted efforts of Dr. Daniel Park and his team, and the loosening of international travel restrictions related to Covid.

For so many of us, our cries go unnoticed. We hide our trembling lips, our gulps and gasps, and especially, the sobbing for whatever grief or hardship we face.

Immerse Cornerstone Retreat
From Sept. 13-16 the MABL and MDIV Immerse students gathered for their yearly retreat at Stillwood Camp and Conference Centre in Lindell Beach, B.C. (more popularly known as Cultus Lake). Our first and second year students participated in the Discipleship Seminar, while our third and fourth year students both learned about, and participated in, coaching. There was lots of time for connecting with each other whether over great meals, free time, or evening games. There was also time for worship, prayer, and encouragement. Thank you to the Fellowship Pacific Ministry Centre, in particular Krista Penner and Ana Reyes, who planned this fantastic retreat!
