Since 1934 Northwest Seminary and College has provided robust theological education and pastoral training to our constituency and beyond. Last summer it was announced that the ACTS consortium will be closing in May 2026 (click here for the announcement and answers to FAQs).

This announcement does not mean that Northwest is closing. Northwest is an independent accredited school with its own charter from the Province of British Columbia to grant theological degrees, and we will continue to do so. It does, however, give us the opportunity to dream and strategize about how best to fulfill our mission to prepare effective ministry leaders.

As we begin this process, we’re calling you to join us in fervent prayer:

- For God's guidance as we chart our course forward
- For provision through key donors to propel our mission forward
- We've launched a strategic planning process
- Through surveys and discussion, we're listening to Fellowship Pacific, and our churches, pastors, alumni, students, and key stakeholders
- A new vision and plan for the next 3-5 years to effectively prepare Christian leaders
- A refreshed look that displays our new vision
