Overview

Are you serious about your faith and how to live a Christian in the church and world, but not called to full-time ministry? A Graduate Certificate allows you to explore the scriptures, church history and personal spiritual formation in a manageable format. The various certificates allow you to focus your studies on a particular area of interest, preparing you to live out the gospel in your family, community, workplace and church. You may also continue into a degree program upon completion of a certificate.

Application Requirements

Northwest welcomes applicants who confess faith in Jesus, are members in or connected with a local church, and possess a desire for academic and spiritual growth within the ACTS Seminaries community of which Northwest is a member school. A bachelor degree from an accredited university or college is the standard academic prerequisite.

The seminaries that constitute the Associated Canadian Theological Schools admit qualified women and men of any race, nationality or ethnic origin. Please note that meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission. Northwest and ACTS may consider applicants who do not meet the minimum academic requirements, provided they can demonstrate the ability to succeed at the graduate level.
