神国的复兴需要每一位基督徒都担当起祭司的职分（彼前2:9），为了担当这一职分无论是教会中的平信徒还是长执人员都应该争取得到一定的神学装备。

西三一大学Northwest神学院中文部为了更好地帮助华人教会中的弟兄姐妹回应这一需要，特推出基础神学证书课程，旨在帮助基督徒通过神学的学习进一步认识神，得到最基本的神学装备，奠定初步的神学基础，更好地在日常生活中实践信仰以及在教会中服侍。

这些证书课程也是西三一中文部正式硕士学位课程的一部分，成绩合格的课程可以累计学分，以便弟兄姐妹读完证书课程后，可以选择进一步深造。

Are you serious about your faith and how to live a Christian in the church and world, but not called to full-time ministry? A Graduate Certificate allows you to explore the scriptures, church history and personal spiritual formation in a manageable format. The various certificates allow you to focus your studies on a particular area of interest, preparing you to live out the gospel in your family, community, workplace and church. You may also continue into a degree program upon completion of a certificate.

Graduate Certificates are offered in the following areas:

证书课程需要修习12学分。学生可以全时间，一个学期完成所有学习，也可以兼职学习，多个学期逐步完成学习。证书课程的授课放方式包含实体教学、线上教学以及录播课程。

证书课程毕业生所获得的证书，由西三一大学及所在神学院共同颁发。
