What if singing isn't the only way to worship God?
Unfortunately, many churches fall into the trap of simply appointing a talented individual to take care of music on Sundays, without understanding key biblical and theological essentials about the church’s worship.
When this happens, worship can slide into entertainment or looking to copy what seems to be the next ‘big thing’ in church growth. Then, the result is Christians who are mis-formed by the worship they participate in, developing self-centred approaches to worship, rather than a biblically informed, God-centred approach.
That's why we're thrilled to offer you two micro-courses designed and delivered by Dr. Johnny Markin. Individually and together, these courses establish foundational truths about who Christians worship—the Trinitarian God revealed in the Bible—and offer practical guidance on how churches can structure their gatherings in ways that broaden and deepen their expressions of worship in and beyond singing praise to God.
- View the syllabus for A Trinitarian Theology of Worship here. It starts on April 13.
- View the syllabus for The Church at Worship Part One here. It starts on May 18.
These courses are designed to build upon each other and are run back-to-back. You will receive a 20% discount for auditing and an 18% discount for the for-credit option if you enroll in both.
