Every fall, Cornerstone brings our community together at Camp Squeah near Hope, BC, to welcome new students and start the academic year. It’s one of the few times students from across the Fellowship Pacific and Northwest networks gather in one place, and this year it was again full of energy, conversation and new friendships.
Undergraduate students took on the Amazing Race – Hope Edition. Teams raced through challenges that tested their teamwork, creativity and stamina, and there was plenty of laughter along the way. Meanwhile, our graduate students met for a seminar on discipleship, reflecting together on what it means to follow Jesus and to help others do the same in their ministries and communities.
Between sessions, there were shared meals, worship and lots of time to connect across programs. We’re grateful for everyone who made this year’s retreat possible, and we’re excited for the year ahead. Take a look at some of our favourite moments below!
