Northwest is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Don Chang as Dean of Korean Programs, effective July 1, 2025.
In this expanded role, Dr. Chang will provide strategic oversight and leadership for the full scope of Northwest’s Korean-language programs. These include the Korean Doctor of Ministry, the Bachelor of Arts in Christian Leadership (BACL), and the Korean-language Master of Arts and Master of Divinity programs currently offered in partnership with ACTS Seminaries. We are also excited to share that plans are well underway to expand this model of partnership to include TEDS (Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) for our Korean MA and MDiv programs—further strengthening our capacity to serve Korean-speaking students with excellence.
Dr. Chang has long been a driving force behind the growth and development of our Korean programs. His deep alignment with Northwest’s mission and his steadfast commitment to theological education have earned the respect and trust of students, faculty, and staff alike.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Chang on this well-earned appointment. We are deeply grateful for his ongoing leadership and for the passion he brings to serving the Korean-speaking Church in Canada and beyond.
