Northwest periodically takes photos and video taping of faculty, staff, students, alumni and visitors in classroom settings, during special events, in public meetings and other Northwest related venues. These photos are for Northwest Baptist Seminary’s use only and may be used in a variety of publications including: brochures, pamphlets, web pages, flyers, or television/video productions.

Where Northwest desires to use an individual’s image, it will secure the permission of that person. All photographers taking photographs/videos of individuals on behalf of Northwest must obtain a signed release form from the individual concerned.

1. Northwest faculty and staff are asked to sign such a release as part of their employment agreement.
2. Board members are asked to sign a release when they begin their term.
3. Students are asked to confirm their permission via the Northwest program-application forms

In the case of crowd/classroom scenes where no single person is the dominant feature, no release form is required.

Northwest retains the right to discontinue the use of any photo or video without notice.

Northwest will not provide photos or videos of individuals obtained through such a release to another institution or agency without that individual’s permission.

This policy governs photographs or videos intended for use in any Northwest publication of a marketing or public relations nature, including newsletters, brochures, viewbooks, promotional items or other such material. Releases must also be obtained for photographs used on the Web.
